How We Serve

The Belonging Project provides essential items such as clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and welcome kits to children entering foster care. But we are about more than meeting physical needs—we are about creating a sense of belonging. Through community support, partnerships, and intentional care, we come alongside foster families and children to ensure no one feels alone in the journey.

Why It Matters

When a child enters foster care, the first moments matter. Having basic necessities—and something that feels like their own—can bring comfort, restore dignity, and create a sense of stability.

  • We provide thoughtfully packed kits for children entering foster care, including clothing, hygiene items, and comfort essentials to meet immediate needs.

  • Many children arrive with very little. We ensure they have access to clean clothes, shoes, and everyday essentials so they can feel confident and cared for.

  • From backpacks to blankets and small personal items, we include pieces that help children feel safe, valued, and not alone during a difficult transition.

  • We partner with foster parents by providing resources and supplies, helping ease the burden and allowing them to focus on caring for the child.

  • We work alongside local organizations, donors, and volunteers to expand our impact and reach more children in need.

We invite our community to be part of something meaningful. The Belonging Project thrives through partnerships with churches, schools, businesses, and compassionate individuals who want to make an impact in the lives of children in foster care. By working together, we can provide essential resources, create safe spaces, and ensure every child feels seen, valued, and supported. Your partnership helps us build a community where every child belongs.
